Turner Consulting and Evaluation: Using Technology to Improve Your Customer Experience
At Turner Consulting and Evaluation, we have a confession to make: We thrive on the latest nerdy gadgets. From smart phones, to laptops, GPS, you name it. Call us geeks. Call us nerds. Call us what you will, but by all means, call us at 8283334627 for appraisal orders in Buncombe County! Why? We're glad you asked.
The appraisal process has rapidly evolved lately and these days, is a lot more demanding. We put quality first, but we know that turnaround time is a big concern since nobody likes to wait for results. So, we've simply optimized our routine processes to do more in less time. We strive to be the very best, and we've found that keeping up with new technology allows us to provide more comprehensive reports, quicker turnaround times and of course, the very best in customer service.
Innovating the Ordering Experience
In the past, most of our orders were delivered via fax and were confirmed with phone calls once we arrived at the office. Often, in this scenario, it might of taken hours to hear back to see if the order could be taken. These days, when orders are entered on this website, we get a text message on our phones. We often log into this site from the field and send back an e-mail confirmation – including the time and date for the inspection if we've been able to talk to the occupant.
Turner Consulting and Evaluation understands that real estate is all about timeliness. We use our resources to reduce waiting between communications since the speed at which we get things done directly effects your bottom-line. This website has proven to reduce cycle time for us and our clients by enhancing our communications.
Turner Consulting and Evaluation is a pioneer in efficient data gathering
The appraisal process is nothing if not a demanding activity. We spend a great deal of time collecting both specific information about the subject property and general data about the local market and developing trends. Once again, technology has stepped in to help Turner Consulting and Evaluation.
We've learned that taking notes regularly, using pencil and paper, generally takes longer since we we have to enter everything back in at the office. Don't be surprised to see us with a tablet PC or collecting data using an application created for our phones that even lets us sketch a floorplan right on the spot. Rather than using that clumsy outdated tape measure, more and more appraisers are beginning to use laser measuring devices that are quicker, more accurate, and can get into places that normal tape measures have always had problems with.
We combine all of these different technologies to ensure that your final report is thorough and without error, requiring fewer call-backs and revisions. A real money saver for busy appraisal clients.
Modern appraisal report delivery ensures our clients have a number of ways to get their report
At a very minimum, you can expect us to deliver your final report electronically as a PDF. Generally our clients are most familiar with receiving PDFs attached to their e-mail. It's a lot faster than the old days before e-mail. But, we've even been able to innovate how you receive your report with this website.
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to lose a file. Or have you ever had an attachment blocked because it was too big? We have the technology to overcome those problems, too. When we deliver an appraisal through this website, the client gets a link sent to their email to retrieve the PDF. So, at that point, it doesn't matter if all the extra photos and maps in the report result in a large file that would normally be blocked by e-mail. And the download link is good for 90 days. So if anything happens to the file, you can log back in here and retrieve it again without even calling us or waiting for us to get to a computer so we can send it again.
Turner Consulting and Evaluation enhances its appraisal records by using Digital Workfiles
It would probably be easier if appraisers could complete a report, give it to the client and never worry about seeing that document again. But one of the purposes of an appraisal is as a legal document outlining the condition of a property on a specific date. Therefore, appraisers must keep their reports for 5 years, allowing them to recall any appraisal at any time to either defend the valuation or to be used in other legal proceedings.
To sum it all up, Turner Consulting and Evaluation uses all the technology at our disposal technology to improve service. We store every part of the appraisal - notes, sketches, supporting documentation and calculations - along with the appraisal electronically, we skip the paper file folders and only need our computer to recall just what that assignment was about.
We just wanted to give you a little bit of insight into how we use our technology daily. Using the right tools, along with the appraisal know-how that you've grown to expect allows the appraiser to deliver reports quicker, more efficiently and with higher degrees of accuracy.
